Operations on behalf of third parties
Importation on behalf of third parties is a service rendered by BRASCOMEX-ES / ALLMAX TRADING-SC, which promote, in their names, customs clearance (in the ports of Espírito Santo and Santa Catarina) of imported goods purchased by another company – called acquirer – pursuant to previously signed agreement that may also comprise rendering of other relevant services such as commercial mediation, and logistical, exchange, and financial planning of the operation.
This is a solution to serve companies opting to outsource their business support activities (Article 1 of IN SRF nº 255/02 and art. 12, § 1, I, IN SRF no. 247/02).
Import operations on behalf of third parties are subject to previous approval on SISCOMEX (Brazilian Integrated System of Foreign Trade), both regarding acquirer and importer, as well as previous registration of both CNPJs (Corporate Taxpayer's IDs) onto this system by the Brazilian Revenue Service.
